Barrow v Blackpool:
Barrow won the toss at the Ernest Pass Memorial ground and put Blackpool in to bat. Balckpool had a disastrous start being 12-4 then 35-5 but captain Paul Danson steadied the ship with 40 and with support from Alex Smith 35 and latterly Steven Mercer 26no they reached 139-8 in their 50 overs. Graham Dawson was Barrow's best bowler with 3-28
In reply Barrow started well and reached 35 before they lost their first wicket, but that was the start of the slide with professional Kaustubh Pawar 45 and Michael Wellings 12 being Barrow's top scorers and were bowled out for 81 in 42.3 overs
The Blackpool professional Christi Viljeon again proved his worth with the sensational figures of 21 overs 8 maidens 26 runs 7 wickets, he was well supoorted by Richard Gleeson with 3-26 off 15.3 overs
