Leaders Leyland win along with Garstang, Longridge Fulwood & Broughton and Fleetwood. Penrith defeated St Annes in a crucial game at the bottom of the league

Barrow v Garstang

Barrow won the toss at the Ernest Pass Memorial ground and invited the visitors to bat first. Michael Walling and Michael Wellings opened for Garstang and the score had reached 24 when Walling was bowled by Greg Reynolds for 12 (35 balls), 21-4

Mark Walling came in no3 but with the total on 43 he lost his partner Michael Wellings caught by Rhys Studt off Greg Reynolds for 16 (49 balls), 43-2.Punit Bisht was next in and with Walling took control of the match with a stand of 162 when Walling was caught by Dineth Thimodya Hewathanthre off Patrick Allington for 69 (82 balls), 205-3

Matthew Crowther joined Bisht but was out caught behind by Justin Pringle off Dineth Thimodya Hewathanthre for 3 (9 balls) 212-4. Puint Bisht was the next wicket to fall caught by Sam Henderson off Patrick Allington for 110 (94 balls 15x4 2x6), 218-5

Danny Gilbert was at no 7 and he and Dan Curwen took the score to 269 when Gilbert was caught by Greg Reynolds off Dineth Thimodya Hewathanthre for 20 (12 balls), 269-6. The innings closed shortly afterwards with Garstang 272-6 in their 50 overs, Dan Curwen 32no (22 balls) and Ian Walling 1no (1 ball)

Greg Reynolds took 2-33 from 9 overs, Patrick Allington 2-48 off 6 and Dineth Thimodya Hewathanthre 2-55 from 11

The Barrow openers Justin Pringle and Toby Mowat got the home side off to a good start with a partnership of 53 when Pringle was caught by Ian Walling off Michael Walling for 36 (40 balls), 53-1

Dineth Thimodya Hewathanthre came to the wicket but only ten runs had been added when he lost partner Toby Mowat bowled by Ian Walling for 21 (40 balls), 63-2. No 4 was Rhys Studt and with Hewathanthre added 28 runs when Dineth Thimodya Hewathanthre was bowled by Punit Bisht for 22 (42 balls) 91-3.

Studt was out four runs later bowled by Travis Pieters for 15 (27 balls), 95-4. Greg Reynolds and Daryl Wearing fought to rebuild the home innings but with the score on 122 Wearing was caught by Mark Walling off Travis Pieters for 11 (23 balls), 122-5

Patrick Allington was next in but had only made 6 (12 balls) when he was bowled by Ian Walling, 131-56. Glen Kermode was Reynolds's next partner and they put on 26 runs when Ian Walling bowled Kermode for 10 (23 balls), 157-7

Barrow were now fighting to save the match but with the total on 168 Walling struck again bowling Greg Reynolds for 30 (54 balls), 168-8. Ian Walling took his fifth wicket bowling Sam Henderson for 0 (5 balls) 170-9

Walling with his next ball gave Garstang victory and took wicket on 6 by bowling Gary Collins for 0, 170 all out in 47 overs.

Ian Walling had figures of 6-54 from 17 overs, Travis Pieters 2-38 off 12, Michael Walling 1-19 from 8 and Punit Bisht 1-22 off 5

Fleetwood v Blackpool

Blackpool won the toss at Broadwater and chose to bat, The opening pair were soon separated when Sam Dutton was caught behind by Keegan Armstrong off James Amor for 0 (9 balls), 5-1.

Things did not improve when Ciaran Johnson was bowled by Alex Ryder for 0 (11 balls), 9-2. Craig Brown joined Matthew Houston but with the score on 24 Brown became Ryder's second victim caught by Declan Clerkin for 5 (12 balls). 24-3

Joshua Boyne came in at 5 but lost Houston lbw to James Gregson for 20 (43 balls) with the total on 44, 44-4. Five runs later Ryder took his third wicket bowling Joshua Boyne for 11 (21 balls), 49-5.

Blackpool were in trouble and the batsmen dug in, however Ben Howarth was out caught behind by Keegan Armstrong off Ryder for 2 (16 balls) 53-6. Matthew Grindley joined Andy Furniss and they tried to bat their way out of trouble

Alex Ryder took his fifth wicket having Andy Furniss caught by Mat Clark for 17 (36 balls), 70-7. The eighth wicket fell with the total on 77 Paul Danson bowled by Neels Bergh for 3 (10 balls).

The introduction of Declan Clerkin into the attack was the end of the Blackpool innings, he had James Thomson caught by Mat Clark for 4 (10 balls) then he had Matthew Siddall caught behind by Keegan Armstrong for 0 (5 balls)

Blackpool were bowled out in 39 overs with Matthew Grindley undefeated on 26 (52 balls).

Alex Ryder took 5-40 from 15 overs, Declan Clerkin 2-5 off 2, James Gregson 1-7 from 2, Neels Bergh 1-14 from 10 and James Amor 1-26 off 10

The Fleetwood reply got off to a bad start with James Gregson out lbw to Jamie Thomson for 0 (8 balls), 2-1.Keegan Armstrong joined Rana Singh and they took the score to 50 when Rana Singh was bowled by Joshua Boyne for 26 (51 balls) 50-2

That was the last Blackpool success as Keegan Armstrong 33no (88 balls) and Neels Bergh 32no (34 balls) saw Fleetwood home closing on 103-2 in 29.1 overs

Joshua Boyne had 1-13 from 3 and Jamie Thomson 1-24 off 8

Fulwood & Broughton v Chorley

Chorley won the toss at the Highfield ground and elected to bat and struggled to 101 all out in 41.2 with Chamikara Edirisinghe top scoring with 19.

The wickets were shared amongst the Fulwood & Broughton bowlers, Chris Brookes 3-9 from 9, Simon Kerrigan 2-10 off 8.2, Jon Fenton 2-26 from 7, Matthew Smith 1-5 off 6, Lewis Dingle 1-12 off 6 and Dominic Jackson 1-24 from 5

In reply Fulwood & Broughton lost only one wicket Matthew Rosbottom caught behind by Harry Barclay off Edwin Moulton for 11 on their way to victory knocking off the runs in 22.2 overs closing on 103-1, Matthew Smith was 50no and Mark Smith 38 no

Kendal v Leyland

Leyland won the toss at Shap Road and decided to bat, Henry Thompson and Karl Cross gave the visitors a good start with an opening partnership of 46 when Cross was caught behind by Richard Dakin off Matthew Park for 17 (40 balls), 46-1.

Saif Badar came in at no 3 and moved the score onto 75 when he was out caught by Ben Phillips off Chris Miller for 17 (31 balls), 75-2, Kurtis Watson joined Thompson but only two runs had been added when Thompson was caught by Matthew Park off Wes Marshall for 40 (98 balls), 79-3

The no 5 batsman was Nathan McDonnell who had made 3 (16 balls) when he was bowled by Wes Marshall, 91-4. Ross Bretherton was next in and with Kurtis Watson added 59 runs when Bretherton was caught by Ben Phillips off Toby Tyson for 21 (29 balls), 150-5

The Leyland innings closed without further loss and were 171-5 in their 50 overs, Kurtis Watson was 63no (81 balls) and Andrew Makinson 8no (5 balls)

Wes Marshall took 2-60 from 14 overs, Chris Miller 1-34 off 17, Matthew Park 1-36 from 11 and Toby Tyson 1-39 off 8

The Kendal openers Saeed Bariwala and Wes Marshall batted carefully and had taken the score to 28 when Bariwala was bowled by Karl Cross for 19 (48 balls), 28-1. Marshall followed ten runs later bowled by Ross Bretherton for 10 (41 balls) 38-2

David Batty and Ben Phillips had to battle for their runs but with the total on 73 disaster struck for Kendal with loss of two wickets, Ben Phillips run out by Kurtis Watson for 20 (45 balls) 73-3, then Chris Miller trapped lbw by Saif Badar for 0 (2 balls) 73-4

Oliver Tyson joined Batty but when he was 7 (7 balls) he was out lbw to Nathan McDonnell, 80-5, batty and Joseph Dodds added thirty runs then Batty was caught by Henry Thompson off Saif Badar for 40 (72 balls) 113-6

Richard Dakin was next out stumped by Alex Williams off Henry Thompson for 1 (3 balls), 119-7. Thompson struck again four runs later bowling Toby Tyson for 3 (6 balls), 123-8

The question now was could the Kendal tail hold out, Alex Williams claimed his second stumping that of Ryan Nightingale off Saif Badar for 1 (4 balls), 126-9. The Kendal innings came to an end when Joseph Dodds was bowled by Saif Badar for 15 (33 balls), 131 all out in 44.3 overs

Saif Badar had figures of 4-32 from 8.3 overs, Henry Thompson 2-7 off 3, Nathan McDonnell 1-19 from 4, Ross Bretherton 1-28 off 15 and Karl Cross 1-30 from 13

Longridge v Netherfield

Netherfield won the toss at the Newsham Memorial cricket ground and chose to bat, The score was 10 when Jonathan Millward bowled Josh Dixon for 3, 10-1, Ben Barrow and Bevan Small took the total to 64 when Barrow was caught by Tom Howarth off Daniel Wilson for 23, 64-2

The third wicket fell soon afterwards with Bevan Small out lbw to Jonathan Millward for 32, 70-3, Four runs later and Finlay Richardson was out to the Howarth/Wilson combination for 5 74-4

Jonathan Millward took his third wicket when he bowled Lewis Edge for 0, 83-5, Netherfield were in trouble wicket number six fell Lewis Richardson caught by Lachlan Bangs off Daniel Willson for 0, 92-6

Bradley Earl was next out lbw to Daniel Wilson for 24, 103-7, Joel Blain gave the visitors a glimmer of hope making 21 before he was out caught by Joshua Mllin off Daniel Wilson, 131-8

Matt Jackson was out one run later caught by Lachlan Bangs off Ian Simpson for 9, 132-9. The innings closed when Lachlan Bangs had Robbie Dwyer caught by Ben Howarth for 5, 141 all out in 48.3 overs with Marv=c Hadwin 2no

John Simpson and Daniel Wilkinson Jnr opened for Longridge but lost Simpson with score on 17 bowled by Matt Jackson for 8, 17-1, Luke Platt and Wilkinson added 46 runs when Platt was caught behind by Finlay Richardson off Joel Blain for 13, 63-2

James Whitehead had made 3 when he was run out, 87-3, Daniel Wilkinson soon followed caught behind by Finlay Richardson off Robbie Dwyer. 89-4. Lachlan Bangs was joined by Joshua Mullin and they took the score to 114 when Mullin was trapped lbw to Joel Blain for 1, 114-5

The game could go either way and Joel Blain had Ben Howarth out lbw for 4, 120-6, he then trapped Nick Wilkinson lbw for 0 128-7,

Jonathan Millward and Lachlan Bangs had taken the score to 140 needing two runs to win when Millward was out caught off Joel Blain for 3 140-8, Ian Simpson quickly followed lbw to Blain, 140-9

Daniel Wilson came in at number 11 and scored the winning runs as Longridge closed on 145-9 in 34.5 overs, Lachlan Bangs 37no and Wilson 4no

Joel Blain took 6-34 from 9 overs, Robbie Dwyer 1-8 off 5 and Matt Jackson 1-22 from 5

St Annes v Penrith

St Annes won the toss at Vernon Road and elected to bat, with the score on 13 Tom Higson received a beast of a ball and was out caught Owen Jones off Greg Hall for 12 (29 balls) 13-1

Richard Staines joined Tim Smithies and they took the total to 69 when Staines was caught by Greg Hall off Jamie O'Brien for 28, (35 balls), 69-2. Mohamed Nadeem came in at no4 and he and Smithies had to work for their runs but on 126 Smithies was caught behind by Alister Craig off Greg Hall for 41 (104 balls), 126-3

Amar Ullah was next in and with Nadeem had a partnership of 33 when Nadeem was bowled by Greg Hall for 38, (63 balls), 159-4, Ben Reader made 10 (13 balls) before he was caught by Jamie O'Brien off Greg Hall, 173-5

The innings was coming to a close and St Annes were chasing runs, Greg Hall bowled Amar Ullah for 29 (39 balls), 191-6, the seventh wicket quickly followed Matthew Yeadon caught by Nicky Burns off Samuel Hall for 0 (2 balls), 192-7

Henry Higson was ninth out giving Greg Hall his fifth wicket bowled for 24 (16 balls), the St Annes innings closed on 209 for 8 in their 50 overs with Andy Drake 1no (1 ball) and Nathan Bend 4no (1 ball)

Greg Hall took 5-57 from 15 overs, Jamie O'Brien 1-30 off 8, Samuel Hall 1-35 from 8 and Aher Hart 1-53 off 17

In reply Penrith made a steady start but on 24 Henry Marshall was bowled by Tom Higson for 8 (15 balls) 24-1, Asher Hart and Nicky Burns took no chances and had moved the score to 68 when Burns was bowled by Amar Ullah for 39 (68 balls), 68-2

Greg Hall joined Hart but when he was on12 (17 balls) he was bowled by Mohamed Nadeem, 103-3. Greg Cameron came in at no5 and he and Asher Hart saw the visitors home closing on 210-3 in 485 overs with Hart 79no (110 balls) and Cameron 61no (83 balls)
