Blackpool v Kendal
Blackpool won the toss at Stanley Park and invited the visitors to bat first, Matthew Grindley made the early breakthrough having Maximus Winskill caught by Matthew Taaffe for 0 (2 balls), 0-1, Finlay Richardson was the Kendal number three but was soon out caught by Buddhika Bopitiyage off Jamie Thomson for 4 (9 balls), 11-2.
Dushan Vimukthi was next in and with Darren Nightingale steadily moved the score along until Matthew Grindley claimed his second wicket Darren Nightingale caught by Josh Boyne for 25 (53 balls)(3x4, 1x6), 45-2, Freddie Fallows came to the wicket and with Vimukthi had nearly doubled the score when Dushan Vimukthi was caught by Jamie Thomson off Buddhika Bopitiyage for 29 (58 balls)(4x4), 86-3.
Bradley Earl joined Freddie Fallows and they were going along nicely when the rains came the the innings was closed with Kendal on 146-4 in 36 overs with Freddie Fallows 63no (74 balls)(8x4, 2x6) and Bradley Earl 16no (20 balls)(1x4, 1x6).
For Blackpool Matthew Grindley took 2-38 from 12 overs, Jamie Thomson 1-21 off 5, Buddhika Bopitiyage 1-39 from 12, Nate White 0-17 off 2 and Joshua Boyne 0-28 from 5.
The weather relented and play resumed with Blackpool set 126 from 20 overs. The openers Ben Howarth and Joshua Boyne gave them a great start with an opening partnership of 88, Joshua Boyne was the first to go caught by Darren Nightingale off Freddie Fallows for 41 (39 balls)(3x4, 1x6), 88-1.
Andrew Needham was in at three and had put on 20 runs with Howarth when he was caught behind by Finlay Richardson off Dushan Vimukth for 14 (13 balls)(1x4, 1x6), 107-2, Buddhika Bopitiyage was in next but lost Ben Howarth bowled by Freddie Fallows for 41 (52 balls)(3x4), 118-3.
The new batsman was Matthew Taaffe and with Bopitiyage saw Blackpool home on 131-3 in their 20 overs with Buddika Bopitiyage 19no (14 (balls)(1x6) and Matthew Taaffe 2no (3 balls).
The Kendal bowling was Freddie Fallows 2-39 from 7 overs, Dushan Vimukthi 1-44 off 7, Louis Backhouse 0-20 rom 4 and Sam Sharp 0-23 off 2.
Kendal need one victory from the last two games to be champions.
Chorley v Fleetwood
Chorley won the toss at Windsor Park and chose to bat first, they got off to a good start with Sunny John and Alfie Dobson, Alfie Dobson was the first one out caught and bowled by Hassan Mughal for 10 (19 balls), 40-1, Miller Childs came in at three but with only eight runs added lost Sunny John caught behind by Harry McAleer off Jeremy Davies for 27 (35 balls)(2x4, 2x6), 48-2.
Edward Moore was the new batsman and was scoring at a run a ball until he fell to the McAleer/ Davies combination. caught behind by Harry McAleer off the bowling of Jeremy Davies, 74-3, Will Moulton joined Miller Childs and they upped the run rate,their partnership was 142 when Miller Childs was caught by Tomas King off Matthew Siddall for 72 (68 balls)(10x4, 3x6), 216-4.
Edwin Moulton replaced Childs but three runs later he was stumped by Harry McAleer off Matthew Siddall for 1 (6 balls), 219-5. Kieran Yould replaced Edwin Moulton but the rains came and the innings closed with Chorley on 223-5 in 33.3 overs with Will Moulton 83no (54 balls)(9x4, 6x6) and Kieran Yould 2no (8 balls).
The Fleetwood bowling figures were Jeremy Davies 2-68 from 12.3 overs, Matthew Siddall 2-72 off 11, Hassan Mughal 1-19 from 6, Joel Baines 0-26 off 2 and Michael Rippon 0-36 from 2.
The rains stopped and Fleetwood were set 203 in 33 overs, It was an eventful first over by Stuart Naden, Nathan Bend hit the first three balls for four, ball four he was caught by Miller Childs for 12 (3 balls), Jeremy Davies came in at three hit the first ball for six then was bowled off the sixth ball of the over for 6 (2 balls), 18-2.

Hassan Mughal replaced Clark but twenty runs later was caught by Miller Childs off Will Moulton for 7 (7 balls), 86-7. Woody Wilson was the new man and was scoring at a run a ball until he was stumped by Ben Simpkins off Edward Moore for 11 (12 balls), 115-8.
Matthew Siddall came to the wicket but two runs later lost Adam Sharrocks caught by Edwin Moulton off Will Moulton for 35 (34 balls)(4x4), 117-9. Joel Baines was in at eleven and was quickly out caught and bowled by Edward Moore for 1 (4 balls) as Fleetwood were bowled out for 118 in 16.3 overs with Matthew Siddall 1no (6 balls).

Matthew Crowther was in at three but was soon out caught behind by James McWilliam off Khalil Patel for 9 (13 balls), 115-2.
Michael Wellings was in next and saw Tom Higson reach his century in 26.1 overs, the Higson/Wellings partnership ended with Tom Higson caught by Usama Abrar off Cameron Port for 158 (109 balls)(17x4, 11x6), 219-3.
Sumit Ruikar walked to the wicket but with only one run added was caught behind by James McWilliam off Simon Kerrigan for 0 (3 balls), 220-4.

Alasdair Egerton was next in and was scoring quickly until he was caught by behind James McWilliam off Jon Fenton for 22 (15 balls)(3x4,1x6), 282-8. the new batsman was Danny Gilbert but he was soon Jon Fenton's second wicket caught by Khalil Patel for 2 (5 balls), 306-9.
Joe Barlow was in at eleven and four runs later fell lbw to Khalil Patel for 4 (4 balls) as Garstang were bowled out for 315 in 48 overs with Ian Walling 40no (19 balls)(5x4, 3x6).
The Fulwood & Broughton bowling was Simon Kerrigan 3-88 from 15 overs, Khalil Patel 3-117 off 13, Cameron Port 2-26 from 7, Jon Fenton 2-30 off 8 and Lewis Wellings 0-49 from 5.
The weather delay meant that Fulwood & Broughton were set 216 from 26 overs. Cameron Port came to the wicket and went on the attack, Ernie Collinson ended any comeback with the hat-trick to close the innings, his first wicket was Lewis Wellings caught by Danny Gilbert for 7 (9 balls), new man John Fenton was caught by Michael Walling for 0 (1 ball) and his hat-trick Khalil Patel bowled for 0 (1 ball) as Fulwood & Broughton were bowled out for 171 in 25.3 overs. Netherfield won the toss at the Stanning Memorial ground and elected to bat first, they got off to a good start and were going well until Ben Barrow was caught by James Rounding off Michael Pallett for 22 (53 balls)(3x4, 1x6), 64-1. The Netherfield number three was Cole Mcconchie, Michael Pallett claimed his second wicket Reece Irving caught by Andrew Jacques for 44 (63 balls)(6x4), 85-2.
John Huck joined Mcconchie but with the score just past the hundred Cole Mcconchie was caught by Alexander Eyre off Ned Patterson for 22 (17 balls)(4x4), 101-3. Richard Everett was the new batsman and with John Huck leading the way had a stand of 116 broken when Richard Everett was run out by Adam Sexton for 34 (23 balls)(4x4, 1x6), 217-4. Josh Dixon was in next, John Huck went on the attack and reached his century, Michael Pallett claimed his third victim Josh Dixon caught behind by Adam Sexton for 9 (26 balls), 268-5,
Will Beeden came out for one ball then the rains came and the innings closed on 268-5 in 43 overs with John Huck 126no ((75 balls)(14x4, 7x6) and Will Beeden 0no (1 ball).

The rains relented and Leyland were set 217 from 24 overs. The opening pair set about going for the runs, Alexander Eyre was out caught by John Huck off Isaac Medhurst for 14 (12 balls)(2x4), 26-1, Number three Lloyd Tennant was out five runs later caught by Ben Barrow off Isaac Medhurst for 1 (2 balls), 31-2.

Settle won the toss at the Newsham Memorial ground and put the hosts into bat, Joshua Mullin was the first out bowled by Gautam Waghela for 15 (16 balls)(3x4), 22-1. Luke Platt was in at three and with Taariq Chiecktey moved the score along, Amar Ullah was introduced into the attack and in his first over bowled Taariq Chiecktey for 41 (35 balls)(4x4, 2x6), 72-2.

Zach Proctor joined Luke Platt and dug in but fell to the Smith/Waghela combination caught behind by Noah Smith bowled by Gautam Waghela for 4 (25 balls), 129-5. Tom Howarth was Platt's new partner and just when they looked to be making progress Tom Howarth was caught by Will Davidson off Amar Ullah for 16 (24 balls)(2x4), 155-6.
Ollie Mullin came to the wicket but was quickly out caught by James Snowden off Will Davidson for 1 (2 balls), 156-7. Kieran McClintock replaced Mullin but disaster for the hosts Luke Platt was out caught behind by Noah Smith off Tom Davidson for 55 (108 balls)(4x4), 178-8. Due to the weather Settle were set 117 from 20 overs, Settle got off to a steady start losing Will Davidson caught by Zac Christie off Jonathan Millward for 6 (11 balls), 25-1. Zane Nirodi came in at three and with John Davidson were making good progress. Kieran McClintock was brought into the attack and in his second over had John Davidson caught but Joshua Mullin for 38 (36 balls)(1x4, 4x6), 63-2.
The new batsman was Gautam Waghela but with only eight runs added lost Zane Nirodi caught behind by Taariq Chiecktey off Kieran McClintock for 12 (18 balls)(2x4), 71-3. Sam Curwen was the visitors number three and with Josh Borrell steadily moved the score along, Ben Purdham came on to bowl and in his second over had Sam Curwen caught by Ben Davidson for 15 (47 balls)(2x4), 52-2.
Jacob Sackfield was next in but did not last long caught by Zephania Arinaitwe off Ben Purdham for 4 (12 balls) 71-3. Joshua Rolinson was the new batsman and with Borrell took the score past the hundred, Ben Davidson was brought into the attack and in his first over had Josh Borrell lbw for 57 (103 balls)(8x4, 1x6), 115-4.
Christopher Hedges joined Rolinson but two runs later saw the return of Nico Watt to the attack and he had Joshua Rollinson caught by Marc Brown for 16 (20 balls), 117-5, the incoming batsman was Daniel Howard, four runs had been added to the score when Christopher Hedges was caught by Alex Raybould off Ben Davidson for 1 (10 balls), 121-6.

The weather cleared and Euxton were set 130 in 21 overs. they got off to a flying start with twelve off the first over but lost Ben Houghton caught behind by Robbie Sumner for 4 (8 balls), 17-1. James Bone came in at number three, Josh Tolley was the next man out caught by Ed Cox off Nathan Walmlsey for 26 (18 balls)(4x4), 37-2.
Hakeem Perryman came in but with only six runs added Charlie Parker took two wickets in an over, James Bone was stumped by Robbie Sumner for 11 (21 balls)(1x6), 43-3, Jack Shovelton was in next but two runs later Max Harper was caught by Joseph Bradshaw for 1 (3 balls), 45-4.
The Perryman/Shovelton partnership looked to be making progress when three wickets were lost for six runs, Hakeem Perryman was the first to go caught by Charlie Parker off Nathan Walmsley for 14 (21 balls)(1x6), 73-5, incoming batsman Jack Morgan fell in the next over lbw to Charlie Parker for 1 (5 balls), 76-6.
Danny Curtis replaced Morgan but Ed Cox bowled Jack Shovelton for 21 (19 balls)(1x4, 1x6), 79-7. Joseph Barker came to the wicket and was scoring well until he was bowled by Ed Cox for 13 (9 balls)(2x4), 105-8.
Joseph Bowden joined Danny Curtis but on nelson Danny Curtis was caught behind by Robbie Sumner off Ryan Roberts for 9 (8 balls)(1x6), 111-9. Elliot Mackrael was number eleven and it came to the last over with 9 runs required, three was needed off the last ball for victory but Elliot Mackrael was run out for 5 (5 balls) as Euxton were bowled out for 128 in their 21 overs two runs short. Joseph Bowden was 13no (12 balls).
For Penwortham all the bowlers took wickets, Charlie Parker took 3-35 from 7 overs, Ed Cox 2-18 off 2, Ryan Roberts 2-34 from 5 and Nathan Walmsley 2-35 off 7.
This defeat for Euxton following the loss at St Annes makes their chances of promotion very slim with their final match against Carlisle at home.
Mawdesley v Great Eccleston
Great Eccleston won the toss at the Rectory Field ground and chose to bat first, Nisanth Nithian and Matthew Lawrenson opened with a partnership of 107 broken with Aneeq Hassan bowling Matthew Lawrenson for 33 (69 balls)(4x4), 107-1, Alexander Rhodes was the number three batsman and continued moving the score along, Nisanth Nithian reached his century, Lewis McKinnon bowled Alexander Rhodes for 24 (17 balls)(3x4, 1x6), 166-2.
Mohamed Nadeem was the next batsman in, Nisanth Nithian was out caught by Will Caunce off Joshua Adamson for 121 (97 balls)(10x4, 8x6), Alex Swale came to the wicket but the rains came and the innings closed on 194-3 in 33.2 overs. Mohamed Nadeem was 8no (17 balls) and Alex Swale did not face a ball.
The Mawdesley bowlng figures were Lewis Mckinnon 1-31 from 5 overs, Aneeq Hassan 1-47 off 5, Joshua Adamson 1-48 from 12.2, Ben Munslow 0-19 off 2 and Neil O'Malley 0-47 from 9.
When play resumed Mawdesley were set 242 in 34 overs. they got off to a steady start losing Nathan Trengove lbw to Alexander Rhodes for 26 (19 balls)(5x4), 36-1, number three was Aneeq Hassan but six runs later Ben Munslow was bowled by Mohamed Nadeem for 10 (21 balls), 42-2.
Fyffe Dennis joined Hassan but he was soon out stumped by Will Thistlethwaite off Mohamed Nadeem for 5 (15 balls), 42-2, Daniel Unsworth was the new batsman but in Mohamed Nadeem's next over was trapped lbw for 0 (4 balls), 61-4.
Lewis McKinnon replaced Unsworth and with Aneeq Hassan were making good progress until he was bowled by Phil Booth for 18 (37 balls). 116-5. Oliver Ellicott came to the wicket and with Aneeq Hassan saw Mawdesley close on 161-5 in 31.1 overs with the weather ending play. Aneeq Hassan was 60no (71 balls)(5x4, 2x6) and Oliver Ellicott 21no (20 balls)(3x4).
Mohamed Nadeem took 3-43 from 10 overs, Phil Booth 1-33 off 4, Alexander Rhodes 1-423 from 10, Jim Proctor 0-15 off 5.1 and Nisanth Nithian 0-21 from 2.
St Annes v Vernon Carus
Vernon Carus won the toss at Vernon Road and put St Annes into bat, the hosts got off to a good start, they lost Lukman Vahaluwala caught behind by Robert Bridges off Jacob Holland for 17 (15 balls)(3x4), 44-1. Luke Jardine came in and five runs later saw Nathan Arnstrong out caught behind by Robert Bridges off Jacob Holland for 30 (34 balls)(6x4), 49-2.
Promod Maduwantha joined Jardine and they took control, Luke Jardine reached his century and shortly afterwards the rains came and the St Annes closed on 235-2 in 37.3 overs with Luke Jardine 119no (96 balls)(22x4, 1x6) with Promod Maduwantha 60no (80 balls)(7x4).
For Vernon Carus Jacob Holland took 2-48 from 8 0vers, Mohammad Patel 0-17 from 2.3, Fraser Young 0-24 off 3, Daniel Cairns0-27 from 3, Matthew Timms 0-33 off 7, Ian Dunn 0-34 from 6 and Jaxon Cornford 0-42 from 8.
The target set for Vernon Carus after the rain delay was 212 from 20 overs. The chase was on but on reaching 33 both openers were out, Hasan Zaman went first bowled by Lukman Vahaluwala for 17 (19 balls)(2x4), 33-1. in came Jaxon Cornford and saw Mitch Bolus bowl his partner Will Adams for 15 (11 balls), 33-2.
Ian Dunn joined Cornford and they were approaching the hundred when Ian Dunn was bowled by Rory Urquhart for 31 (30 balls)(4x4), 90-3. Robert Bridges replaced Dunn but lost Jaxon Cornford bowled by Alex Urquhart for 34 (34 balls)(2x4, 2x6), 104-4.
The next man in was Daniel Cairns but six runs later Robert Bridges was bowled by Pormod Maduwantha for 3 (7 balls), 110-5. The new batsman was Jacob Holland, Alex Urquhart claimed his second wicket Daniel Cairns caught by Thomas Bradley for 16 (11 balls)(2x4,1x6), 123-6.
Promod Maduwantha bowled the first ball of the lat over to Ben Thomas who was run out for 1 (2 balls), 124-7. the second ball he bowled to Jacob Holland who was stumped by James Bradley for 3 (6 balls), 126-8. Fraser Young was in at ten and a run was taken off his first ball. his fifth ball saw Mohammad Patel caught by Lukman Vahaluwal for 1 (2 balls), 128-9.
