THE LEWIS TOMLINSON INTERVIEW

Livingstone Looks Ahead

Liam Livingstone attempts a big hit against County colleague Chris Williams

Liam Livingstone at the age 18 is already a well known figure in the Barrow side and cannot wait for the first game away at Leyland. He believes that the Barrow squad this year is one of the strongest they have had for a while, when asked about there title chances he replied:

"In my eyes we have got the strongest team we have had since I have been at Barrow, and with the young talent mixed with some older heads I think we should have a great chance of winning it"

Livingstone who last season scored 697 runs at an average of 30 and also took 26 wickets is looking forward to meeting the clubs new pace bowler professional Shannon Gabriel.

When asked about facing the Pace Bowler who has been clocked bowling at 92mph in the nets Livingstone jokingly replied:

"Its not the nets I am worried about, its fielding at first slip thats my concern, but its a totally new expierience for us all, and it should be a good challenge in the nets but I think I will keep on the right side of him when he is bowling!"

Liam Livingstone who made his debut for Barrow at the age of 14 is looking to have yet another successful season starting with an away trip to Leyland on the 14th of April.
