THE LEWIS TOMLINSON INTERVIEW

Miles Returns to Ernest Pass

Jonathan Miles

After Re-joining Barrow from a season away at Shap Road with Kendal, Jonathan Miles has indicated it was the fact of playing for his home town team again which made him re-sign the papers at Barrow.

When asked why he decided to re-join Chris D'Leny's strong Barrow side he said: "Playing for my home club again was a huge driving factor for me, and being involved in the set up with the juniors and hopefully passing my knowledge onto them for the future of the club being successful for a long period of time is massive for me".

Whilst at Kendal Miles scored a total of 657 runs in 27 innings with an average of 27.38.
When asked about his time at Kendal Miles said: "Kendal was a fantastic club and I had a fantastic season, they are a fantastic bunch of lads and a strong club, and I would like to thank them dearly for my season there"

I'm sure the Barrow players will welcome him back and the Barrow spectators will look forward to him returning to crease when they visit Fox Lane to face Leyland in the opening game of the season on April 14th.
