Amin deal falls through

Umar Amin

Another pro deal has fallen through as Morecambe have been unable to retain professional Umar Amin for season 2013.

Amin who had a succesful 2012 campaign, had been retained for the new campaign.

However a statement by Morecambe Cricket Club said

"It is with sadness that the club have had to terminate the contract of Professional Umar Amin due to financial difficulties. The Club would like to thank Umar for his commitment and passion whilst playing in a MCC shirt. Morecambe chairman Tommy Clough and skipper Lewis Edge will now begin the search for a new professional for the 2013 season"

This news follows on from Leyland who had to pull out of the Brett Pelser move, earlier this month.

Revised Professional list:

Barrow: Travis Head

Chorley: Gaurav Dhar

Darwen: Jonathan Carter

St Annes: Toby Bulcock
