Pedder Re-Joins Morecambe

Gareth Pedder has Re-Joined Morecambe after a spell as professional at Carnforth. Pedder who last year got 438 runs and got 48 wickets is looking forward to returning to the club he learnt his trade with.

When Pedder was asked about made him return to Morecambe he said:

"It was mainly a time issue as having a full time job and combining it with being a pro was very hard, Going straight from work pretty much every day and not getting home and not been able to spend time with my wife as much as I would've liked to."

Morecambe this year will be captained by Lewis Edge when I asked Gareth Pedder about his hopes for the 2012 season he replied:

"I'm hopeful that We can push hard to win the league and go the distance in the cups as well, Like you said we have a strong squad of players, both mixed with experience and youth."

I ended the interview by asking Pedder on his personal ambitions for the season and asked him what its like going back to his first club and he said:

"I'm absolutely delighted to be back at the club I started, I knew that I was gonna go back sometime and glad I've gone back when I've still got a lot to offer.,/p>

Personally I would like to be in the 50 league wickets bracket and 500 league runs or as close to those figures as I can get."
