Its another busy weekend of action in the Northern Cricket League, as the top teams continue to battle it out for The League title.
DIVISION ONE:
In Division One of the Chorley Building Society Northern Cricket League, it's the battle of the top two as Leyland host second placed Blackpool.
This is a crucial game, for both teams, victory for Leyland would create more of a gap, whilst a win for Blackpool would put Paul Danson's team top of the league.
Leyland have not yet lost a league game, whilst Blackpool are in top form, as they keep on winning.
In the other games, Chorley looking to get some league form, host a Barrow team that pushed Leyland all the way last Sunday. Sam Dutton is in top form following his century knock last weekend.
Tommy Clough's Morecambe, host Penrith, with both teams looking for some consistency. Penrith also play on Sunday when they host The Lancashire Colts.
St Annes had a mixed weekend in the Lake District are home to a Darwen side that will be looking to build on their victory over Lancaster.
Netherfield host Fleetwood, with Marc Brown's team in good form as they prepare for TWP Wealth Twenty/20 Finals Day on Sunday. Fleetwood are also playing relatively well as they look to win at Parkside Road.
At West Cliff, Preston who are striving for form, entertain a Kendal team with Jamie How looking for more runs following his big scoring knock against Penrith last Sunday.
DIVISION TWO:
League leaders Leyland travel to Blackpool looking to keep up their good form following last weekends results over Netherfield and Barrow.
Netherfield who lost both games to Leyland and St Annes last weekend will be looking to respond when they play Fleetwood away.
Barrow host Chorley at Ernest Pass, Darwen entertain St Annes, Kendal after their first defeat of the season at Penrith play host to Preston and Penrith are home to Morecambe.
